A warm summer's day on the Green

Welcome to the Rotherfield Millennium Green Trust website.

The Millennium Green was established in the year 2000 as an amenity space – a green lung- for the people of Rotherfield and the surrounding area. It is run by a group of volunteer Trustees, who manage it for the Village. They are supported by a number of wardens and other dedicated volunteers.

Our policy is to maintain as far as possible the natural state of the land, whilst at the same time developing certain features such as the formal area, the pond and the heritage orchard. A great deal of work has been put into enhancing the area for wildlife, whilst at the same time providing access paths for those who visit and enjoy all the Green has to offer.

This website will tell you more about the Green, its facilities and the plans for its improvement.

The Green is for your benefit, so we welcome your comments, ideas and suggestions. To give us your thoughts, please get in touch with us (click here ) or  via our contact page.
